Heated Hatha Flow @ Arise Brooklyn

Experience Hatha Yoga and flow with the speed of your breath in our heated downstairs studio! Explore this healing movement practice through creatively sequenced poses while building solid heat in our cozy 90° space.

Modeling a healthy nervous system, our heated practice moves between periods of activation and brief rest, observing both the outer and inner flow of energy that we awaken through these ancient shapes. Class closes with an extended savasana and a cool lavender-scented towel.

The benefits of hot yoga include the following:

- increased flexibility (in our infrared heated room, this happens gradually and keeps you connected to your physical limitations)

- increased blood flow, and strengthened bone density (great for healthy aging!)

- linked to a reduction in both stress and depression (especially helpful in colder, darker months)

Reccomended that you BYO mat and a towel // drink plenty of water before & after class.
